Playa de Palma extends between the municipalities of Palma and Llucmajor and gives its name to the tourist area that includes the most eastern side of S’Arenal de Llucmajor.
The beach has a total length of 4600m, an average width of 50m, equipped with all the services that only a beach situated in an obviously urban environment can have. With fine white sands, the beach has lifeguard services, spas and newsagents, showers, telephones, litter bins, hammocks, parasols, rental equipment for water sports, beach cleaning services etc.
It is impossible to be bored in Playa de Palma. By day, quite apart from the beach itself and the terrace cafés, you might have a walk round the weekly market (Tuesdays), or have a ride on the tourist train that offers an alternative perspective of the beach, or reserve a few hours for cultural activities.
At night, the huge range of discothèques, terrace cafés and pubs in Playa de Palma, is a sure guarantee that you will always be able to find your preferred atmosphere. Your music, the company that you like best, your favourite drink...And if you prefer more traditional pastimes, in Playa de Palma there is no lack of popular fiestas. The summer fairs, or Carnival in February, the time is always right for celebrating a fiesta and enjoying music, dances and happiness in the streets.
